Welcome to SLaMS

First established in 2015 in Burrowbridge in the heart of the Somerset Levels and Moors, we have now moved our Shed to a very pleasant canal-side location in nearby Bridgwater. Our Shed is easily accessible by public transport (Bus 21 stops on nearby Taunton Road) while there is adequate parking adjacent to or within 5 minutes walk.

Whether you are a seasoned “shedder”, a casual handyman or just want to spend some time with like-minded people and are interested in finding out a bit more about us, you will find a warm welcome and a hot mug of tea ready at your first visit.

We encourage creativity and self-development among our members. You might be keen to learn a new activity, share your skills and knowledge with others, be an “ideas” person, or want to focus on a project that you have been working on, but haven’t had the time, space or encouragement to complete. If so our Shed is the place to be.

As well as being productive for members’ and community projects, the Shed offers the chance to meet others with similar interests and socialise. There’s always time for a brew of tea and a chat.

So what are you waiting for? It would be great to see you and welcome you to our Shed.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My husband belongs to Sheds. When we retired he had time on his hands, and was missing the social side of his work. He'd got quite low in spirit and when he heard about Sheds we thought it might help him. He thoroughly enjoys the activities and the company. It also puts his carpentry skills to good use.

I had suffered a breakdown thats why i tried sheds. No pressure atmosphere, great guys and coffee and tea anf a chat.
